Spark Frames is the creation of Thomas “Sparky” and Stephanie Houston, co owners of Houston’s Custom Framing and Fine Art.
Chief Visionary Officer and inspired creator of the line, Thomas M. Houston (aka “Sparky”), M.C.P.F., B.F.A. San Francisco Art Institute, is also the owner of Houston’s Custom Framing & Fine Art. As an artist and picture framer himself, he knows that the key to a great design is in the details. And that sometimes, you need to offer something different and unique to really get the “wow factor” for your client’s artwork.
Spark Frames was born out of creating something unique for a customer who had a piece that needed something out of the ordinary. It was so fun and cool that he decided it needed to be available to other framers. And with the wave of his magic wand, Spark Frames was created.
Our frames are artisan hand crafted works of art unto themselves. We make them to your specifications and ship them to you ready to fit and transform the artwork and the space that they will occupy.
